news-1-1

I. Preparation: Check your materials and lay the groundwork

Check your materials: Unpack and verify that you have the pre-cut wood boards (numbered and no cutting required), the accompanying tools (glue, tweezers, sandpaper, etc.), and the decorative accessories (door and window stickers, carpet tiles, etc.).

Tool Preparation: Lightly sand the edges of the wood boards with sandpaper to remove burrs and prevent scratches during assembly. Shake the glue thoroughly and prepare a clean cloth.

Setting Up: Choose a flat surface and cover it with a non-slip mat or old newspapers to prevent glue stains and to facilitate easy placement of the components.

II. Core Assembly: From Frame to Form

Building the Base: Find the large wooden board marked "Base." Align the four corner support columns with the pre-recorded slots in the base. Apply the supplied glue evenly to the joints and gently press to secure. Use a small hammer to tap gently for a tighter fit. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes for the glue to set.

Installing the Walls: Identify the front, back, left, and right wall boards and match them to the slots in the base. Install the back wall first, then the left and right walls, and finally the front wall. Ensure the wall is perpendicular to the base during installation. Use glue to reinforce the joints for added stability.

Assembling the Roof: Align the two roof boards with the slots at the top of the wall. Apply glue and join them precisely, ensuring a uniform roof slope. Use tweezers to press the joints to avoid excessive gaps. Once joined, gently press down with a heavy object and let it sit for 20 minutes. Installing Doors and Windows: Align the pre-cut door and window parts with the designated openings and secure them with a dot of glue. Adjust the opening angle to your liking. Wipe off any excess glue with a rag.

III. Interior and Exterior Decoration: Create Your Own Style

Interior: Lay carpet tiles to your liking, install accessories like mini stairs and bookshelves, paint the wood panels (if the product doesn't include colored wood panels), or apply stickers to the walls to create a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Exterior Beautification: Apply tile stickers to the roof and paint the edges of the walls. Add decorative plants, small streetlights, and more to enhance the dollhouse's refined feel.

Detailing: Check all joints for tightness and sandpaper to remove any excess glue, ensuring a clean, smooth overall appearance.

Tips:

  • Avoid touching the assembled parts while the glue is setting. It is recommended to let them rest according to the instructions to ensure a stable structure.
  • If parts become misaligned during assembly, wipe the glue with warm water and readjust after it softens.
  • You can add personalized elements like handmade miniature furniture and photo stickers to make the dollhouse even more unique.

Follow the steps above and you'll have a beautiful DIY dollhouse! This process will not only improve your hands-on skills but also give you a great sense of accomplishment. Give it a try!
