1.What is “fumigation’’?
The wood packaging fumigation is a compulsory measure taken to prevent harmful pests from harming the forest resources of the importing country.Therefore,it must be detoxified and fumigated before shipment.
2.What kind of wood packaging was required for fumigation (disinfection)?
Generally refers to the materials used for packaging, supporting and strengthening goods. Such as wooden crates,wooden pallets, pad storage,timber, wooden barrels, wooden mats,wooden lining boards, wooden shafts,etc.
3.The requirements for fumigation:
①Wooden packaging must not with tree bark.
②Fumigated wood packaging should be shipped as soon as possible and stored separately with other untreated wood.
